Guilherme Leal was born on June 17, 1996, in Portugal. He began his artistic training at the National Conservatory Dance School and completed it at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. He has danced for Vasco Wellenkamp, Allan Falieri, Tom Collin, Margarida Belo Costa, Companhia de Évora, Vortice Dance Company, Teatro Praga, Companhia Paulo Ribeiro, Luiz Antunes, São Castro and António Cabrita, Emanuele Soavi inCompany, and IVONA.

 

At the Festival de Danse de Cannes, he performed an excerpt from Um Solo para a Sociedade by São Castro and António Cabrita. With IVONA, he has danced in Manbuhsona, Manbuhsa, Jose Pasqual, The Valley, RER, and also T.R.I.P.O.F.O.B.I.A, which won first prize at the TWAIN and Machol Shalem competitions.

 

For creations with Jerusalem Dance Theatre and Oper Graz, he works as an assistant to choreographer Pablo Girolami.
