
Audition Process
for AZA
1. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
AUDITION | JULY 19
Video: Applicants are required to submit a video showcasing their dance skills. The video should include a variety of dance styles and techniques, highlighting the applicant's strengths and versatility.
*Video Submission Guidelines:

Duration: The video should be no longer than 3min.

Content: Applicants should demonstrate very good technical level in classic or contemporary dance.
CV (Curriculum Vitae): Applicants must provide a detailed CV outlining their dance training, performance experience.
Picture: Applicants should submit a recent black and white photo of themselves.
2. APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants can submit their audition materials via [online platform].

Upon receipt of the audition materials, committee will review each submission carefully, and do the selection for a live audition on 19th of july, in Lisbon.
3. EVALUATION CRITERIA

Technique: Proficiency in dance technique, including strength, flexibility, alignment, and control.

Artistry: Expressiveness, musicality, creativity, and emotional depth in performance.

Fit for Program: Alignment with the goals and objectives of AZA – dance program for pre-professionals dancers including readiness for pre-professional training and commitment to excellence.
4. NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS

Applicants will be notified of the audition results via email until 26th June.

After successful completion of the online audition process, participants who are selected for the program will be invited to attend a in-person interview in late September. The purpose of this interview is to further assess the candidates and begin the process of organizing their unique and individual dossier. This dossier will play a key role in shaping each participant's journey throughout the AZA dance program, allowing for personalized guidance and support.
